Congratulations to kindergarten teacher, Brenda Ibave, for being voted Teacher of the Year by her peers at Central Elementary. Brenda has been at Central School for ten years, first starting as an intervention teacher in the upper grades. She found her joy, however, in kindergarten and has been positively impacting young students ever since. Brenda enjoys teaching reading, but says that math is fun, too. Her peers describe her as "dedicated, loving, and patient" while students in her class admit that Mrs. Ibave is the best teacher because they "have fun while they're learning." Congratulations to our 2023-24 Teacher of the Year!
